Alright, since a lot of you wanted to do this song, let's do it!

Instructions:
1. Claim one of the roles you'd like to take on! If the role is already taken, you can't get it. Please bold your claims, so that it's easy to be found.
2. Record the parts of the role that you have claimed. My recommended program is Audacity, it's very user-friendly and it's free! You can use any other programs as well like Garage Band (Mac), Soundtrack Pro (Mac), Soundbooth/Audition/Cool Edit Pro (Windows). How do I record?
3. Export it to MP3, WAV or AIFF. Remember to not include the instrumental song with your mixdown.
4. Send it to me (upload it somewhere and send the link to me through PM or on the thread) and I'll compile it!

Gekidasa: Thanks for taking the time and making the effort to organize this for us. I'm looking forward to the experience.

I have two questions:
- When is the deadline? Sometime this weekend?
- For those of us with deep-voiced parts, should we try to strive for that range, or can we sing it like ... well ... girls?

No probs! Considering everyone's different schedules, the deadline would be a month after all roles are filled. You don't have to follow their range and can just sing it normally. Rather, do sing in whichever range you're comfortable at! That way you will be satisfied with the result too.

One more question: Forgive me, it's past midnight and my brain is foggy. Just to ensure I understand properly, you want only our vocals and not the music we're singing against?

Also, are you going for deep or normal? It'd sound strange if I sang all high pitched while everyone else sounds male-ish!

No probs. Yep, correct. You can refer to the tutorial I linked up there as of how to do it if you don't already know how to do it. I'm going to attempt deep, because my voice is low in general, but I might switch to normal as well, not sure yet. Most of the people here are in medium to high range though, so you don't need to worry about that.
